Announcement:
- Thursday (08/31): Hearing tests for 1st, 2nd, and 5th graders in the Library.
- Please remind your kid(s) to complete and bring their homework assignments to class.
- While writing the Chinese homework, please assist your kid(s) to follow the stroke order in this website. You can see the dictionary/translate so you know what the meaning is the words your kid(s) is writing.
- I sent weekly email on Sunday, if you didn’t receive my email that means your email address is not in the system. Please Email me and I will put your email on my list.([email protected]) or write down your email on a note and have your kid(s) send it to me (make sure you have kid’s name on the note).

- Most students are able to distinguish the difference between goodbye and hello in Chinese and when they should use each.

- Learn "boy and girl" in Chinese.

Thursday (08/31):

Monday (08/28) :
- Class Schedule: Today is the first day of regular schedule, which is a long day for students. Our students learned that they will have whole day schedules from now on.
- 1. When students follow teacher direction they can move their clips up on a behavior chart. When a student's clip is on the purple he/she will get a candy.
- 2. Students need to follow teacher's direction when they hear 1 2 3. If teacher did not said 123 and all students cannot move.
- Eyes on teacher. Listen to teacher. Mouth closed.
Tuesday (08/29):
- Assembly- Digital citizenship. Internet Safety. (See pictures below).

- When a student listen to/look at teacher he/she can move their clip up. (Positive reinforcement.)
- When a student listen to/look at teacher he/she can get a sticker. (Positive reinforcement.)
- When a student interrupt teacher he/she need to move their clip down. (Negative reinforcement.)
- Most students are a lot more clear on schedules. They know what and when they are suppose to do (lunch, go home, etc.).

- Today, we still have some students keep asking "When can we go home?" We will keep working on school schedule next week.
- Stand up, sit down, line up, look at teacher...
- Students need to follow teacher's order in 10 second. Teacher always count 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0. When teacher count down to "0" and then all students need to finish their job (finish work or sit properly).
- Teacher move students' clip up when students are following teacher's order.
- Teacher move students' clip down when students are not following teacher's order.
